Worksop Music and Drama Festival

I was commissioned by the Worksop Music and Drama Festival to refine their existing logo, which was based on a photo of the town’s Priory Gatehouse.

As part of this work, I explored the creation of a new symbol, with a modern, more simple interpretation of the building. In creating the vector artwork, I homed in on the key elements of the architecture. The client was particularly keen to retain much of the detail of the building, so I balanced this request with the need to maintain clarity at smaller scales by employing two different stroke weights.
